Through various rhythm games & big hand signals, the group is guided along an inspirational journey, demonstrating improved communication and through learning different rhythms, showing how individual input is crucial to the overall goal/sound.
Our Drum masters will have your group exhilarated, and playing cohesively together, reacting & communicating as a unit.
We will send you on a vibrant sound adventure that will build in pace & intensity until the explosive finale. Delegates will learn to play:
The pounding Surdo’s of Brazil- Exotic Klong Yaw’s from Thailand
- Doumbeks from ancient Egypt
- Bright coloured frame drums from Europe
- Ashiko’s from the jungles of Africa
We then challenge you to Signature Rhythms. This is fun, but also promotes good team dynamics, improves communication and offers a bit of healthy competition!
Signature Rhythm
Our Drum Masters will teach each team their own signature rhythm in a separate area, over the next 30 minutes the will learn, practice and perfect in preparation for the powerful Finale. This powerful but simple rhythm is unique to each team & comes complete with dynamics, movement and voice!
It will be rehearsed ready for the ultimate challenge, when we all come back together in the main plenary, to stage the battle of the teams & go head to head to see how well they perform their individual rhythms.
With the Drum Master at the helm; all that is left, is to come back together as one big group, breakout the Samba whistles, up the tempo and lead the entire group in their very own hair raising finale!
